This is the wonderful illustrated ‘outcome’ of my storyboarding workshops with some of the students at Bourne Academy in November.
Working with Michelle Lever (Library Manager and talented story writer) and a superb, creative bunch of Year 7 and 8 students, we looked at the process of illustrating a story. We started by dividing a poem into ‘parts’, designing the characters as a group, working as a team to tell the story and then subsequently storyboarding and illustrating each part.
We all had a great time and both the work in progress and the final illustrated images have been exhibited in the Bourne Academy library.
