I love drawing! I’m never found without a sketchbook in my bag, pocket or up my sleeve!

I love ‘capturing magic’ and am fascinated by the world around me, so I “quick draw” – usually 3-5 minute sketches – of scenes, people, interactions, reactions and conversations, as a visual reference, when I’m out and about. 

This has led to many commissions to draw at numerous festivals, conferences, weddings and birthday celebrations… whatever people would like to remember in a fun, highly personal and very original way. I love to capture the “essence” of the people I draw.

The people I meet have always been fascinated by my “live sketching” (even the most self-conscious have taken part). I have never advertised this part of my illustration work, as wonderfully, I have always been remembered and recommended.
